William Hurckes

Bill graduated from Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois in 1981 with a degree in education. His early dream of coaching basketball at the college level was realized in 1986 when Bill began coaching football and basketball at Knox College. In 1988, Bill also entered the financial services industry on a part-time basis in order to earn extra income for his family. After 4 successful years at Knox, Bill moved back to the high school level because the demands of college coaching athletics were keeping him away from his growing family.

In 1992, Bill was at a crossroads with his dual careers. Continue teaching and coaching, or to go full time in the financial services industry? Nearly 30 years later, Bill knows he made the right decision. By applying the listening, problem-solving, and communication skills he acquired during his teaching/coaching tenure, Bill has built a very successful, full services financial planning firm.

Bill takes great pride in getting to know his clients and learning what is truly important to them. Before he and his clients discuss recommendations, Bill implements a thorough Q & A to obtain the necessary information so he can thoroughly understand his client’s mindset and their primary objectives.

Bill and his team at Clarity Group Midwest are continually investing time, money, and energy in the firm to enhance the services and technology available to their clients.

Bill and his wife, Yvonne, have two sons, Brandon and wife Amy, Christopher & his wife Ashley, and five grandchildren, Aubrey, Evan, Olivia, Adelynn & Cooper.

He and Yvonne currently reside in East Peoria.
